How much Internet speed (Mbit/s) do I need?

Do I need to speak Hungarian to get connected?
No! You do not need to speak Hungarian to get connected. Many people moving to Hungary do not speak the language yet, so we arrange everything in English, Dutch, German or French.
Do I need a Hungarian address card (lakcímkártya)?
No. You do not need an address card to get internet through us. We take care of the requirements on your behalf, so you can get connected even if you have just arrived.
What equipment do I need to use the internet service?
Internet in Hungary provides all the necessary equipment, including a router, to ensure you can enjoy fast and reliable internet service. The equipment is included in your subscription, free of charge.
Do I receive an invoice?
Yes. You receive an invoice for every payment. You can also view and download all your invoices at any time in your customer portal.
How long does it take to get connected after signing up?
After placing your order, we’ll contact you within 1–2 business days to schedule the on site installation. Once completed, your internet connection will be ready to use right away.
Can I arrange internet before moving to Hungary?
Yes. You order online from abroad, in your own language, before you travel. For fiber, we schedule the installation with you for a date after you arrive; for 5G, the pre-configured router is sent to your new address in Hungary.
I am moving to Hungary for a short stay. Which contract fits?
Choose a 1-year plan, or a plan without commitment that you can cancel after the first month. Staying longer? A 2-year plan includes free installation. See all plans and prices.
