What documents do I need to get internet in Hungary?
Is it difficult to get internet in Hungary because of documents? It depends on the provider. Telekom asks foreign customers for a Hungarian residence document, such as the registration certificate for EU citizens or a residence permit, plus an official proof of address if your ID does not show one. Yettel also asks for a document issued by a Hungarian authority. With Internet in Hungary you need none of that: no address card, no Hungarian ID and no Hungarian phone number.
