The foundation
Good internet coverage in Hungary is the foundation of everything we do. Whether you are working from home, streaming, gaming or simply browsing, the network is built to carry your digital life without interruption. Where fiber reaches your street you get a wired line; where it does not, our 5G home internet in Hungary covers you. Every router is optimised for the address it serves.
Many providers say they offer fast internet. We show you exactly what we can deliver: when you enter your address, you see our real internet coverage in Hungary for that exact location. If fiber is available you see the fiber plans; if it is not, you see what our 5G connection delivers at that address.
How we run it
Proactive care instead of reactive support
Outage updates
We keep you informed about outages and planned maintenance, so you always know what is going on with your connection.
Local, human support
No outsourced call centres and no chatbot loops. Real people who understand the network and can resolve it fast.
Reach beyond the cities
Internet coverage in Hungary should not stop at the city limits. Where enough neighbours sign up, we request a fiber extension or build a local wireless network.

Coverage by region
Internet coverage in Hungary,
region by region
From the capital to the countryside: fiber where it is available, 5G where it is not, and the same clear price and support everywhere.
Budapest. In the capital, fiber is available in most districts, from apartment blocks in the city centre to family homes in the outer districts. Speeds of up to 8 Gbps are possible at many addresses, which makes Budapest ideal for working from home, streaming and gaming with the whole household online at the same time.
Larger cities. In cities such as Debrecen, Szeged, Pécs, Győr and Miskolc, fiber covers most residential areas and new developments. Where a building or street is not connected yet, 5G home internet is usually a fast alternative until fiber arrives.
Lake Balaton. Around the lake you find both: fiber in the larger towns and many holiday parks, and 5G in places where no cable has been laid. For holiday homes, 5G is often the easiest option, because the router arrives pre-configured and no technician visit is needed. Read more about internet for holiday homes in Hungary.
Villages and the countryside. Internet coverage in Hungary keeps growing outside the cities. In many villages fiber is already available; where it is not, 5G home internet covers you with unlimited data and speeds of up to 400 Mbps. And where neither is possible yet, we look for a solution together with the neighbours: when enough households in an area sign up, we request a fiber extension or build a local wireless network.
Whatever your region, the availability check shows the real internet coverage in Hungary for your exact address before you order, so you always know which technology, speed and price you get.
Good to know
Internet coverage in Hungary: frequently asked questions
Good chance you will find the answer on this page, or by contacting the Internet in Hungary customer service.
Is internet available everywhere in Hungary?
Internet coverage in Hungary is nationwide. Fiber is available in most cities and in many towns and villages. Where fiber does not reach yet, our 5G home internet runs on Hungary’s best mobile network, with coverage across the country. Enter your address in the availability check to see exactly what is possible at your home.
Can I check coverage before I order?
Yes. The availability check shows live coverage data for your exact address before you order. You see which technology is available, fiber or 5G, and which speeds and plans you can choose from. No guesswork and no surprises after you sign up.
What is the difference between fiber and 5G?
Fiber is a wired connection and delivers the same speed day and night, which makes it ideal for working from home, gaming and streaming. 5G home internet is wireless and needs no cable: the router arrives pre-configured and you simply plug it in. Its speed depends on the 5G signal at your address, with up to 400 Mbps and unlimited data.
What if there is no coverage at my address yet?
Let us know. We keep expanding internet coverage in Hungary to rural areas. When enough neighbours in an area sign up, we request a fiber extension or build a local wireless network. In the meantime, 4G home internet is often possible; contact us and we will look at the options with you.
Does my speed drop in the evening?
Yes. Our fiber plans have no data caps and no traffic shaping during peak hours, so your speed does not drop in the evening when everyone is online. You pay one clear monthly price and get the speed of the plan you chose.
What happens when I move or have a second home?
Yes. If you move within Hungary, we arrange internet at your new address. Do you also have a holiday home? You can have a separate subscription for each address. Check the internet coverage in Hungary for both addresses with the availability check.
