Can I get fiber at my holiday home at Lake Balaton?

In the larger towns around Lake Balaton, such as Siófok, Balatonfüred and Keszthely, fiber is often available. In smaller villages and holiday parks it varies per street. Enter your address in the availability check to see what is possible; if there is no fiber, 5G home internet is usually an option.

Is 5G a good option for a holiday home?

Yes. For many holiday homes, 5G is the easiest way to get internet at Lake Balaton. There is no technician visit: the router arrives pre-configured, you plug it in and you are online, with unlimited data and speeds of up to 400 Mbps.

Can I arrange internet before my next stay?

Yes. You order online in your own language, from wherever you are. For fiber, we schedule the installation with you, and someone needs to be at the house during the appointment. For 5G, the pre-configured router is sent to your address, ready for your next stay.

Do I need a Hungarian address card or ID?

No. Internet at Lake Balaton is arranged without a Hungarian ID card, address card or Hungarian phone number.

Which contract is best if I am only there in summer?

If you only use your holiday home in summer or a few weeks a year, a 1-year plan or a plan without commitment gives you the most flexibility. Living there year-round? A 2-year plan includes free installation. See all plans and prices.

Can I have internet at home and at my holiday home?

Yes. You can have a separate subscription for each address, for example your home in Hungary or abroad and your house at the lake. Read more about internet for holiday homes in Hungary.
